Instructions for Exercise 1:

1. To determine the concentration of Solution 1 you should have used the following equation:
   
   

   where 2.50 M is the concentration of the stock solution (C_Old); 10 mL of volume of stock solution were used (V_Old) and 50 mL was the volume of the new Solution 1 that was made (V_Tot).

2. To calculate C_1,Max and C_1,Min you should have used following equations:
   
   

   where 0.02M is the error in the stock solution (s_stock), 0.1 mL is the error of the pipette used (s_pipette).

3. To calculate the associated error of C₁ you should have used following equation:
   
   

4. In Excel, in cells G2, H2, I2 and J2 you should have the following formulas:
