Perpendicular C₂ axes would be at 90° to the primary axis of rotation (the C₂ axis in the previous question). An example of a molecule with nC₂ perpendicular to C_n would be BH₃ (the structure of which is shown below). This has 3C₂ axes at 90° to the primary C₃ axis.
